A sunny day with time to write your book, and then you cant get the creative juices flowing. You probably just need some ideas, a boost, a kick in the pants, whatever it is you need don't want to waste the day.
So how can you overcome this debilitating situation and get going?
Here are a few ideas:
1. Create a Collage of pictures clipped from magazines, surrounding your subject niche. For example; if your writing about horses, go and get several horse magazines and clip out any pictures that you feel are beautiful and moving.
2. Consider changing your Location, if your inside go outside. If you feel that going to the beach or a coffee house would help you write, grab the laptop and get going. Go wherever you can that you feel could get your juices flowing.
3. Create a List, containing every detail you intend to put into the book. Every person, every name, phone number, hair and eye color, breast cup size, house number, sock color etc. This is a significant strategy to help you write, it at least gives you hundreds of details you will eventually need.
4. Get some Fresh Air, step outside and go for a short walk. Its proven that your system begins to rest when your in a sedentary position. Therefore your entire system gets and needs to get moving when your walking or when you go for a short jog. It helps refresh the mind, and clears the mind of the confusing cobwebs.
